In My Siti Era has now been on Instagram for about two months, and has been incredibly fun!
I love getting to share in any capacity. Now it’s becoming a little more “arts and crafts”y vs. just text and photos.
THIS WAS MY DILEMMA.
I love to write about food, but I found myself getting stuck in what I wanted to write about. I had pictures, and little food excursions but didn’t feel right posting them here. So, we headed to Instagram!
Another reason for SM is wanting to showcase how food and my other jobs (performing, and coffee) interweave.
I typically keep this space for solely food, but my life consists of much more than what I’m doing in the kitchen, and I’m ready to share more of that with the world.
I’m very grateful for where God’s taken me in my life and am proud of where I’m at, and I want to share it in multiple forms.
Plus, I wanted another avenue to be silly. Will I regret sharing it with the internet and having a permanent electronic footprint? Maybe!
But also, I’m just a girl in my twenties wanting to share cute pics and silly songs with my friends and family. What’s wrong with that?
At this rate, only friends and family follow me, which is fine! Honestly, it’s very sweet. I don’t plan on becoming an influencer by any means but becoming “famous” for singing and cooking simultaneously would be hilarious.
I’m also sharing a lot more barista life, which I’m learning to fall in love with again:’).
Ironically, I feel like posting more on social media will help me be more consistent in writing, especially during crazy-busy contracts. It’s a reminder of the outlet I love and the spaces I want to create, no matter the platform or status.
If you’re on Instagram, give it a follow! If you’re not, I’m still glad you’re here.
Hopeful for more seasonal writing coming soon!!
With Love,
Cara
